The military has given me the opportunity to travel and see parts of the world while working to communicate with the American public about the everyday lives of American service members. Since enlisting in 2021, I’ve traveled to Fort Meade, Maryland; South Korea; Fort McCoy, Wisconsin; Fort Snelling, Minnesota; Fort Hood, Texas; and most recently deployed to the U.S. Central Command Area of Operation.

As an Army Public Affairs Mass Communication Specialist, I supervise and assist administration of Army public affairs programs by researching, preparing, and distributing news releases, articles, web-based material, and photographs on Army personnel and activities. I gather information within my unit and around the Army, I develop ideas for news articles, arrange and conduct interviews, write news releases, feature articles and editorials, and conduct media training.
